We tow with a 2024 Ford Everest Platinum, powered by a 3L V6 turbo diesel with a 10-speed auto and full-time 4x4—plenty of grunt for towing our fully loaded van.
It’s fitted out with touring in mind, including the Premium Tow Pack, all-terrain tyres on 18" alloys, Clearview towing mirrors, and Dobinsons IMS suspension for a smoother ride.
We’ve also added a NEWMCC Phoenix alloy bull bar and a Stedi light bar for safety and visibility.
Inside, it's comfortable and tech-savvy, with ceramic-coated leather and protective treatments throughout.
It’s tough, stylish, and makes towing long distances a breeze.
Legend Trackline Hybrid Caravan
We travel in a 16-foot Legend Trackline Hybrid, and we absolutely love it. It’s designed for off-grid, off-road adventures, but still feels like a little home on wheels.
The outdoor slide-out kitchen is perfect for our style of living, with most of our cooking and relaxing happening outside.
We’ve upgraded to a 48-volt battery system with solar, so we’re self-sufficient for days at a time.
Inside, it’s comfortable and cleverly laid out with everything we need—including a full ensuite, heaps of storage, and a washing machine.
